 The Black Infection

STORY LINE:

There is boy names Spencer Bruklen a fear complex boy with green eyes and black hair his life is normal till the black letter day of the world...

weird beasts and mutant monsters appear from the ground and are raid the world and people are becoming mutants and human race is being over power by the BLACK INFECTION

just as this infection spreads Spencer receives the power to talk to the dead but his powers are still to be know as he teams up with his friends he tracks down the Black infection to find out its cause?

Chapter 5

Chapter 5 (The unknown pack's hunter)

◕Slowly he opened his eyes opened as light shore in from a gap, he could not feel his body but he managed to push the ice off his face and take deep breaths, I   , getting up and shaking the snow of his pelt he felt like being frosted in a cold iceberg for years “burr…” he shivered. Nora was now on the look for his friends he scanned his gaze around him for his friend “Cleo! Rex!” taking a pause “Where are you guys!” shouting in a roar, then hearing some footsteps in snow, he turned around to see his friends “GUYS!” but next to them he saw a dark floating figure with the red blood flaming eyes. Nora halted in fear giving faint growls as the shadow stomped forward “w-what are you…” whispered Nora, the shadow unleashed four huge blade like claws on each dark misty foot “your death” its voice was like the thousand fears of screaming souls and it leaped high and stinking the claws into Nora’s chest.

Nora jumped awake as he realized it was a night mare, seeing his friends Cleo and Rex in front of him “guys! Your-b-but-” “relax Nora” cut in Cleo with her soft tone “you must have gotten a cold or something” she said “She’s right” added in Rex “and great news no sighs till now, that means we don’t have to hush off to journey” he said while sitting beside Cleo. The pack had eaten a wild pig which was enough to give them energy for a long walk, Nora padded up to Rex “Rex have tell you something…”  “What is it Nora?” Rex asked, Nora sat down and said “do know anything about dream signs?” “I am afraid not” as he sat next to him “why what is the dream about?” Rex asked “well… this morning I had a dream that I woke up and could not find you guys after snow storm” Nora gave a pause “but then I heard footsteps and when I turned back I saw you two but next to you a shadow with bloody red eyes” Rex gave a nod “I asked who he was and it said your death and it jumped up and then it was a blackout” he finished with great detail “A evil sprite” Rex said “A what?” Nora asked “never mind that we have to move now we don’t what to be stuck in this snow land forever” Rex got up and padded off without looking back to Nora.

The pack was off for a long time now and they passed the snow filled land now they were on bare land now they could see a forest up ahead which meant a lot of food. “I smell scents” said Rex “Of what Rex? All I smell is the forest” asked Cleo “Sabers…” Rex said in a cold voice “be sharp” he said and started walking faster.

Nora and Cleo where gone around the forest to get food while Rex collected things to make camp, the two scented a deer and where on the hunt for it “here Cleo” Nora pointed between two trees, Cleo nodded and followed Nora “waits Nora” Nora halted hearing her “what is it?” he asked “I-I smell something…” Nora sniffed the air to check what she was saying “BLOOD!” Nora said look at her.

Nora and Cleo stayed side by side covering each other’s backs as they went tracking the scent of blood Cleo halted “look blood drops!” Nora went to check them “Deer blood… there is a predator out here other than us” he claimed suddenly a bush behind Cleo rumbled “BEHIND YOU CLEO!” Nora shouted and rushed over to her side unleashing his claws he jumped at the bush not knowing what it was he went sinking his claws in fur. A furious growl of pain came when Nora opened his eyes he had clawed down a saber tooth “ugh l-let g-go off me!” he cried, Nora letting go and growled “Who are you and what are you doing here” he also noticed the dead deer beside him, the young saber tooth who was about the age of Nora got up and said “ha-ha who am I!” in a growl “WHO ARE YOU SNIFFING AROUND MY PACK!” he unleashed his claws and pinned Nora down and was about bit him when Cleo jumped on him taking him down “Cleo get back!” Nora warned, Cleo left him and came back next to Nora’s side “look we mean no trouble we’re just looking for food our pack-” “oh so that means steal from other packs and feed our own” cut in the saber “We don’t have a pack” Cleo said “It died under a arch just three of us made it out” she spoke “ok fine where is your last friend?” he asked now in a normal tone “out making camp…” said Nora “CAMP! WHERE?!” he asked “The front of the forest Cleo said “OK look how much I hate to help you but your friend is gone get killed by the patrol!”

Cleo, Nora and the other saber where rushing through the forest to the front “BY THE WAY WHATS YOUR NAME?” asked Nora while running “jay… and I know ours from the fight” he said while running. They all halted “hurry find him! ” Nora shouted, all three went a different direction meanwhile Rex padded into the clear ground with materials in his mouth as soon as saw his friends “Whap Arp youp guysp boing?” he said with a mouth full, they three turned their gaze towards him “REX!” shout Cleo and Nora, Rex dropped the stuff “hey guys catch anything-” he saw jay Rex let out a growl “who are you!”  he stepped forward “Rex wait he is a friend!” Nora said pulling him back “he told us if did not find you his pack would have killed you!” “WHAT! WHICH PACK!” he shouted “Rex relax we will tell everything” Cleo padded up to him next to Nora.

After telling everything to Rex they had a meal, jay helped them out catching it but Rex temper was not down yet when jay offered them to come his pack and Cleo and Nora said yes “NO I will NOT come” he growled “Rex this is faith! This why we came to the north!  To find the north pack and make a new start” Nora spoke “NO! Nora this not why!” Rex spoke with anger “Rex Nora is right! This is our last hope! And jay is giving it to us” Cleo said “No if you guys want to go then go! You have no pride left for your pack! I would rather die!” Rex growled and flicked a rock with one swipe of his paw and it hit the tree and then Rex ran away with looking back and his friends called out to him, jay padded up to them “Don’t worry he will be back I am sure you guys take a rest tomorrow I will greet you to the pack”. Both Nora and Cleo nodding “fine I sure he will be back” they both went lie down “I hope so” whispered Cleo “your right” replied Nora with his head on one paw his eyes started to drop the leads “please come back Rex…” Nora gave the last whisper and his eyes closed he knew that his faith had been set but did not know what was laid in front.

Chapter 4

Chapter four (Strike two)

◕They had left the tree and were now the move to the north were they had hope, Cleo padded up to Rex's side and asked him "Thanks, back their" in whisper "No problem" he replied giving a glance back, "think me of a big brother" he said to comfort her, Cleo felt very safe and came closer to him.

They had walked all morning up and down snowy slops. "ah... My stomach.." complained Nora "Lets stop and hunt" said Rex while sitting down"I'll prepare cozy beds for us to stay for the night" Cleo volunteered, "No, we should catch our food first" Nora pointed out "we need all the help we can get", so they all agreed and headed out.

They were lucky they found a fresh carcass of some terra birds, they must have left it behind, it was good because they had less lose in energy and ate full bellies. After a while soon cold winds started to blow, "guys...I think the storm is back" Nora got to his feet and scented the air "yea, we have to leave" Rex stood up along with Nora. They decided to leave.

The wind was much faster now and colder, as the three where trying to walk on the snow which was reaching there chests "faster" called Nora he to a huge leap and move  forward "trying!" said Cleo making her way, there were little chances to escape a blizzard because its like to drown alive in the coldest sea. Nora could hardly feel his legs, but he had will of moving on and look another leap, suddenly a huge mass of snow came slamming on them, "NO!" cried Rex and pushed it off and looked back at his friends they were okay "Guys I can't feel my legs!" cried Nora, he had only fear that was frost bite maybe it was too late for them. "Guys I want you to know, your my bests friends and I love you" he said with tears in his eyes, he felt like it was all over he stood there with no movement "No Nora, please don't do this!" Roared Rex "We can make it-" he gave glance at Cleo she had the same expression, Rex lost hope and he moved closer to his friends, It snowed harder and the level of snow rose, burring them and leaving them helpless.

Chapter 3

Chapter 3 (After the storm)

◕ Just after the storm was over, the sky turned a bit normal but had the heavy darkness, Nora opened his eyes, it was morning, he was on a thick branch with his claws in it holding on all night, he felt very tired like if he was forced to climb the highest mountain, the sun had not shore its first light yet, he looked around to see his friends are all ok, they held each other and hanged on to the branch on his left, feeling weak and tired Nora put his head down and closed his eyes.

His eyes opened again this time light falling lighting everything near by, it was morning. His muscles felt like if there were beaten all night, he got up freeing his claws from the wood Cleo was still there on the branch, Rex was up and looking up at the sky Nora got down from the branch and padded over to him, and looked up along with him, "we have to move on, this place is not safe" Rex explained "I'll wake Cleo" he nodded and padded back to the tree.

She was still sleeping, he started to climb and then used one of his huge paws to poke Cleo awake "Huh? w-what? i am alive?" "Yes sleepy head" said Nora. Cleo looked around "how am i so high up? Whoa am i flying?" saying in a sleepy tone "Your on a branch Cleo for god sake!" in a shock she jumped up losing grip on the branch and fell down to the ground Nora rushed down the tree looked at her "am i alive?" Cleo asked again, Nora rolled his eyes and said "Ok enough games, we must get out of this place." meanwhile Rex walked up to "get moving another storm might come, the sooner we leave the sooner the better".

Chapter 2

chapter 2 (the signs)

◕they rushed down the slop running as fast and their paws could carry them, they checked the sides of the arch but it was like a caged death trap.

"Why? Oh why? have you done this" Nora looked up at the sky and spoke in a heavy roar "Its no use" said Rex. they spent the noon with arch in sorrow, it was hard to lose it all like that. They did not know where to go and if they did leave other packs or Terra bird would attack them, they felt like helpless cubs now, "i wish someone was  here to guide us" said Cleo with a low head "I wish too" added Nora meanwhile Rex came over the slop and said to them "Get ready we have to leave!" "why?" Nora got up and spoke "Come" Rex beckoned and walk up the slop, Cleo and Nora followed behind him, "See those clouds?" he pointed out the dark clouds casting a shadow on the horizon, "They mean big trouble" "w-what... how do u know?" added Nora, his paws felt cold again "Long story... Lets get a move on" "where will we go?" ask Cleo with a hint of sorrow in her tone "North" explained Rex "let go then, it's final"they all scrambled to their paws and had faith in what Rex had said.

cold winds brushed their furs as they fought against the current, An unusual fear casted over them, the sky turned dark purple, Rex gave a look up "it's worst then I thought" (this is out of the story sorry about that click here of a music to go with this scene) "what do you mean?" asked Cleo "too long to explain, we just have to find cover!" and Rex picked up speed and ran, his pack ates tagged along him, lighting flashed brightly, almost blinding them. "hurry! before it hits us!" Rex roared over the thunder that screeched, suddenly Cleo tripped over when another light flashed, "No!" cried Nora his heart pounding but not losing a second Rex hurried over and picked her up on his back, they all ran for their lives as the monster storm chased them.

The storm was now right on them, it seemed like a herd of mammoths came to seek revenge, "look!" shouted Cleo it was lightly figure in front "A tree in the middle of no ware?" Rex tried to figure out the object,  "What will a tree do!?" Nora shout above his lungs  "Do want to live or die, do see anything else out in this waste land!" Claimed Cleo, they all hurried. Another flash but they were use to the blinding pain, Nora jumped onto the tree digging his claws into it and reaching for the nearest  branch, while Rex had to put more effort with Cleo on his back they got hold of a branch, now they prayed for forgiveness.

Chapter 1

chapter 1 (the hunt) 

 ◕ Cracking of ice as the melted droplets poured down. It was hot day for the pack of sabers, they where all resting under the great arch which was sheltering them for a generations and stood like a shield against the blazing sun, the light from the sun reflexed  from the snow which made it light up and shimmer, in the pack there where three new hunters ready for there first ever as a team solo hunt to being prey back to the arch and feed the pack. they had the best prey around comparing the other packs near by. The heavy steps of the big dark  brown saber marched to the hunters corner there the three new saber toothsome Nora, Rex  and Cleo laid getting ready for the hunt "YOU SABERS READY?!" said the big saber "yes sir, Zane" answer Cleo in her normal soft voice, "ok then follow ME! i will lead out the arch" said Zane "here starts the bossy him again..." whispered Rex to himself, Zane gave him a serious stare, Rex hesitated. "Come on lets move guys." interrupted Nora and padded towards the outside.

 Zane had lead them out, the arch and pointed at the hill of snow which a-parted them from the the Terra birds and the other packs near by. They had reached the top of hill, Nora stopped and gave a look back "we will be home soon..." something was telling Nora something was not right.

The Arch

they went down the hill when they all reached the bottom the all took tastes of the air check any prey near by, Rex and Cleo got a scent of deer they teamed to take it down while Nora got scent of something small and tasty. Nora went to check it out, he saw small paw steps it wasn't any cub  but a rodent by the smell, he tracked it down when suddenly there was movement in the bush to his left, he walked up to it quietly and crouched on the snow, his belly touched the snow and he had a weird feeling in his paws.

Cleo and Rex finished up gathering up their prey, when Nora appeared with a bunch of rodents in his mouth, "Nora that's all?" Cleo was astonished "Why, is it not enough" he asked "Look Nora you have to catch according to the size of the pack! This can't even fill a junior" Cleo raged, Nora looked at his paws and felt as if he screwed up, "look Nora, Cleo is just saying the pack needs more food" explained Rex.

 " never mind it Cleo will tell the pack he helped us" said Rex. "Fine" replied Cleo "lets go then" he gave a pause "thanks guys..." Rex gave him a nod and they all dragged the prey up up the hill, Suddenly there was a slam, Nora left the pray and went to see what had happened, he felt his paws go cold, his body freeze up on that moment to what a sight it was, the arch had fallen over.
